When Cherry brings the old man back to his facility, he bumps into the young Smile. The latter has been looking for a recording of a haiku for quite some time but absolutely can’t find it. As a part-time job, he works at an elderly care facility, and among others, he helps the oblivious and hard-of-hearing Fujiyama through his daily life. His biggest hobby is writing haikus to express his feelings in a better way. “ Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop” is about the high school student Cherry who’s not very good at expressing himself, so he doesn’t like to talk to other people.
