My guess that that the Fein tool free accessory change system is patented. It seems that every multi-tool with the exception of Fein uses a tool to change their accessories. I’m not a fan of the wrench required to change the accessories. I liked that the M12™ Cordless Multi-Tool has a metal interface with 8 cogs that allowed me to rotate the cutting, scraping and sanding accessories 360 degrees for complete application access and versatility.I found this tool light and easy to use. If you palm on working longer than that I suggest using a corded tool. The battery lasted approximately 22 minutes on continual use which is a ton of time for a cordless multi-tool. It cut quickly and accurately in drywall, plastic and wood, and sanded extremely well. It was not as powerful as a corded multi-tool but still had enough power to get a job done. I found the M12™ Cordless Multi-Tool easy to use. This tool came with two batteries which I liked. Contractor Bag Using the M12™ Cordless Multi-Tool:.Included (2) M12™ REDLITHIUM™ Batteries.A 12-speed dial allows a user to dial the tool speed from 5,000 and 20,000 oscillations per minute. Some nice features include a rubberized hand grip and a built-in battery gauge to keep the using abreast of the remaining battery run time. The M12™ Cordless Multi-Tool is a versatile job-site tool that allows it’s user a variety of applications: flush or plunge cuts, removing grout or grinding thin set, sanding or scraping. The tool is 11 inches long and is super light at 2.1 pounds, which is probably due to the fact that Milwaukee uses their M12 lithium-ion batteries in the tool. I immediately liked how the Milwaukee M12 Cordless Multi-Tool felt in my hand. Milwaukee has a great reputation for making quality contractor grade tools. Multi-tools are nothing new as many other companies have been making them recently but I was curious to see what Milwaukee did with theirs. Milwaukee recently sent me their Milwaukee M12 Cordless Multi-Tool 2426-22 to evaluate and review. Milwaukee M12 Multi-Tool Kit Review 2426-22
